The Bright Morning Star Prisons and Homelessness Outreach celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening of their new community hall in Brixton, providing a dedicated space for their vital community services.

After months of preparation and community support, The Bright Morning Star Prisons and Homelessness Outreach proudly opened the doors to their new community hall in Brixton. The facility will serve as the central hub for the charity's extensive range of services, including their daily food distribution program, IT training sessions, counseling services, and community activities.

A Space for Community Growth

The new hall, located at Chartham Court Community Hall, Canterbury Crescent, Brixton, London SW9 7PT, features a spacious main area for community gatherings, a fully equipped kitchen for food preparation, dedicated counseling rooms, and computer stations for IT training sessions.

Having a dedicated space means we can expand our services and reach more people in need. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us on this journey."

Community Celebration

The launch event was attended by local community members, volunteers, supporters, and representatives from partner organizations. The day featured speeches, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, community meals, and cultural performances celebrating the diverse community The Bright Morning Star serves.
