Prevention & Relief of Poverty

"The prevention or relief of poverty across London by providing financial assistance, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other community groups working to prevent or relieve poverty."

This includes:

Emergency food assistance and distribution
Temporary accommodation and housing support
Financial assistance for essential needs

Youth Development & Empowerment

"To act as a resource for young people up to the age of 17 living in London by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals."

This includes:

Educational support and tutoring programs
Skills development and training workshops

Ministry Founded

THE BRIGHT MORNING STAR PRISONS AND HOMELESSNESS OUTREACH was established with a vision to support vulnerable communities across the United Kingdom.

2017
First Community Centre

Opened our first community day centre in Brixton, providing daily support, meals, and safe space for vulnerable individuals.

2019
Official Charitable Status

Formally registered as a charitable company (Company No. 9954660) under the Companies Act 2006, adopting Charity Commission model Articles of Association on 6th August 2019.

Skills & Training Programs

Introduced comprehensive skills development, IT training, and job readiness programs to empower community members.

Prophetess Monsurat Ibilola Osarobo brings a unique combination of law enforcement experience, international peacekeeping service, therapeutic expertise, and spiritual leadership to her role as founder of The Bright Morning Star Evangelical Ministries.

Awarded the United Nations medal in 2000 for her distinguished service in the Peace Keeping Mission in Kosovo (formerly Yugoslavia), demonstrating her commitment to peace and humanitarian service on an international scale.
